Step 3:

What We Expect Of You:

Firstly, we expect you to show up. I know it sounds funny, but some recruits don’t realize that they need to be at our raids as much as possible.

We also expect you to have fun. The game is a video game. You play it to have fun. Yes, raiding can be serious business, and we certainly take our jobs seriously, but relax. It’s a video game. Smile, joke, laugh, socialize. We can't like you if we don’t know anything about you.

Be on your A-game. I realize I just said to have fun, but that’s during the right times. It’s fine to joke about during clears and buff times, but when we’re staring at a huge mob that’s ready to pounce: it’s time to focus. So have fun, but play well too.

Ask questions. If you don’t understand something, it’s not a good idea to continue the ignorance. Ask someone who knows. Ask your sponsor, ask someone else of the same class, ask the recruit officer or ask your group. Don’t just sit there clueless.

Don’t come expecting loot. Loot will happen. Your recruitment is not the time to worry about loot.
